Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and AIToolsay, operator of aitoolsay.com. You accept them by using any part of the site — you do not need an account, and there is no separate button to click.

If you do not agree with any part of this, the remedy is simple and immediate: stop using the site. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

Who may use the service

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Where you use it for an employer, "you" means both you and that organisation.

You may not use the service if you are barred from doing so under applicable sanctions or export-control law.

What we provide

AIToolsay publishes free AI tools, a directory of AI products, a glossary, courses, news and editorial content. Most of it is free to use without an account. Some services — advertising placements, sponsored articles, verified listings and similar — are paid, and are described on their own pages.

We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool or feature at any time. Tools are experimental by nature and we make no promise that a particular tool will keep existing.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for lawful personal, educational, research or commercial purposes. The following are not permitted, and this list is not exhaustive:

Content you may not generate or publish through the service

• Anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or that incites violence.
• Sexual content involving minors, in any form. This is reported, not merely blocked.
• Malware, exploit code, phishing material or anything designed to compromise systems.
• Instructions for weapons, explosives or other material intended to cause serious physical harm.
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark, patent or trade secret.
• Deceptive impersonation of a real person or organisation, and synthetic media created to deceive.
• Disinformation intended to interfere with an election, a public-health response or a legal process.

Things you may not do to the service

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-harvest content except as our robots.txt permits.
• Resell, sublicense or white-label the tools as your own product.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code or prompts.
• Evade rate limits, rotate IPs or spoof identity to obtain more capacity than we offer.
• Probe, scan or stress-test our infrastructure without our written permission. Good-faith security research reported to security@aitoolsay.com is welcome and exempt.
• Interfere with anyone else's use of the service.

Content you generate

You own the output you generate. AIToolsay claims no ownership over it and asserts no licence over it. You may use it personally or commercially.

Three things follow from that ownership, and they are yours to manage:

• Verify it. AI output can be confidently wrong. See our Disclaimer.
• Check its originality. A model can reproduce material close to its training data. If you are publishing, check it does not infringe.
• Follow the downstream rules. The AI provider behind a tool may impose its own restrictions, particularly in medical, legal and financial contexts.

Because identical prompts can produce similar output for different people, we cannot and do not guarantee that anything you generate is unique.

Content you submit

When you submit a directory listing, guest post, review or comment, you keep ownership of it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reformat and distribute it as part of operating and promoting the service. That licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies in backups or where we must retain it by law.

You confirm you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. We may edit for length, formatting or clarity, and may decline or remove any submission.

Our intellectual property

The AIToolsay name, logo, site design, original editorial content, database structure and compilation of the directory belong to us and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may link to us and quote briefly with attribution. You may not copy the site, clone the directory or use our branding in a way that implies endorsement.

Paid services

Where you buy an advertising placement, sponsored article, verified listing or similar, the product page and your order confirmation form part of these terms.

• Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of tax as indicated at checkout; you are responsible for any tax we are not required to collect.
• Recurring plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and it takes effect at the end of the current period.
• We may decline or withdraw any placement that conflicts with our editorial standards or the acceptable-use rules above. Where we do so before delivery, you are refunded in full.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

Editorial independence is not for sale. Paid placements are labelled as such, and buying one does not buy a favourable review or a ranking position.

Third-party services and links

The tools are powered by third-party AI models, and the site links to external products. We do not control those services, we are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's terms.

Availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at a particular time, and we do not offer a service-level guarantee on free tools. We may perform maintenance, impose rate limits, or take the service down when we need to.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy of output. Our full position on accuracy is in the Disclaimer.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is true for you, the exclusions above apply only so far as that law permits.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIToolsay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of the service — even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 100.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your non-excludable rights as a consumer.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AIToolsay against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or content you submitted or generated and then published.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where use harms other users or our infrastructure, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right; serious breaches may be actioned immediately.

You can stop using the service at any time. If you hold an account you can ask us to close it. Terms that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and governing law — do survive it.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms as the service and the law change. The current version always lives at this URL with a last-updated stamp. For material changes we will give notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you keep the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence and to rely on the mandatory consumer protections of that country.

Before starting formal proceedings, please write to us. Most disputes are a misunderstanding, and we would rather resolve one in an email thread than in a filing.

General

• Entire agreement — these terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer are the whole agreement between us.
• Severability — if a clause is unenforceable, the rest stands.
• No waiver — not enforcing a right once does not waive it.
• Assignment — you may not assign these terms; we may assign them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
• Force majeure — neither party is liable for failure caused by events genuinely beyond its control.
