Legal & Policies

Every policy that governs your use of this site, in one place. We write them to be read — short, in plain English, and without the paragraph-long sentences that exist to stop you finishing them.

Each page opens with a one-paragraph summary, then the detail — so you can stop reading as soon as you have your answer.

What it comes down to

Four commitments

The policies say this at length. Here it is in four lines.

We never sell your data

Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. There is no version of this site where that changes.

Prompts are not kept

What you type goes to the model provider to answer that one request. We do not build a history out of it.

Your output is yours

We claim no rights over anything you generate here, including for commercial use.

AI can be wrong

We would rather say so plainly than bury it. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.

Reaching a human

Where to send what

Sending it to the right place is the difference between a same-week answer and a lost email.

Questions

Still stuck? Our team answers every message.

Still have a question? We usually reply within one working day.

Do I have to accept anything to use the tools?

Using a tool counts as accepting the Terms of Service — that is standard. You do not need an account, and non-essential cookies stay off until you switch them on.

Which policy should I read first?

The Privacy Policy, if you only read one. It covers what happens to what you type, which is the question almost everyone actually has.

How do I opt out of analytics?

Open cookie preferences from the footer or the button at the top of this page and turn the Analytics category off. It takes effect immediately.

How often do these change?

Every few months, usually when AI regulation moves. Each page carries a last-updated stamp so you can tell at a glance whether anything is new.

I think something on these pages is wrong. What now?

Tell us. Legal copy is easy to get subtly wrong, and we would rather fix an ambiguous sentence than defend it.

Still not clear?

A policy that needs a lawyer to decode has failed at its job. If any of this reads as ambiguous, tell us which sentence and we will rewrite it.
